The view from the balcony at the place we stayed at in Queenstown.
This album kept me sane on the car trip down to Queenstown.
Both photos were taken at the Moeraki boulders - the first two years ago on the way to Dunedin and the second this year on the way to Queensland. I’ve changed rather considerably in the last few years, I think.
We went luging and this was the view from the top of the hill after taking the gondola up.

This was my summer song from last year. Bringing it back for this year I think.
We also ended up exploring the rest of the museum. There was this little room which was completely filled with butterflies and another with jars everywhere with preserved animals and creatures and things in them. I’ve decided that I love museums, they are magnificent.

I walked to the museum today with Rachel to see the Hearts for Christchurch exhibition.
After the February 22nd earthquake in Christchurch a whole community of people from all around New Zealand and other parts of the world sewed hundreds of these little hearts to show their care and support for Canterbury. It was very sweet.
Remus just pointed out that we are going to Australia next month. Holy crap it felt so far away before.
